Wildflower Alley is a credit to residents

I was delighted to hear that Wildflower Alley in the Holylands won a Belfast in Bloom award – a level of recognition which is richly deserved.
Acting as a small slice of paradise in the city, the benefits of the residents’ hard work extends beyond the aesthetic.
Wildflower Alley is a concerted effort to curb negative behaviour and crime, as well as helping with urban drainage and reducing the risk of flooding.

The residents have led the way in this initiative and serve as an example we should all aspire to, a community that takes pride in their environment and takes proactive steps to make the world a little brighter for everyone.
